my body is in kind of pain today.
see most of us have never experienced that kind of rhythm because we have never seen that radiant of a savior. and it was always just ordinary wasn’t it? and normal? and he was my “homeboy”.

No. They were singing, “Holy, Holy, Holy is the Lord God Almighty. The whole earth is full of His glory.”
and you went excuse me (drops to knees) - that’s not low enough (bows to the ground) … and in mortal flesh you can’t go any lower without digging a hole. and you wonder why the elders — i’m not sure what they do, the angels and the armies, there’s 10,000 times 10,000 a radiance a host, and these elders when the angels say amen and amen and amen, the elders fall down and worship Him.
I’m not knocking t-shirts, i don’t care about t-shirts, but i’m just saying on the way down i don’t think they’re saying on the way down “home boy let’s fall down.”
No - they’re seeing something, theyre stunned by something theyre intouch with something theyre eyes and their hearts are getting connected to something.
im praying for a miracle today, — i have a hunch that i will get 22000 amen’s todayand its possible that we might hardly amen…
we will amen to that and walk out of these doors and absolutely not live it.
What God is going to say i have no doubt that you will amen it … i just wonder if youre going to walk out the door and an hour from now it’s going to still be there.
1. i dont care where you go… you can go to ghana, that would be awesome. you could go to goldman sachs, at least here when you got back, nobody will say “oh my gosh you went to goldman sachs what were you thinking about?”
if you’re passion, if you have a mind and an understanding by all means go to goldman sachs. you may go to east asia ! awesome! - but you may go to east hills high school as a math teacher, and if that’s where you’re going go for it!
some of you have been gifted and wired for phenomenal things… in atlanta in georgia in the south in north america in this continent in south america in the world among the nations among the peoples there are places for all of us — go! wherever your passiosn are leading you GO for that! GO FOR IT! we don’t care where you go, what matters is what you carry.
i’m not talking about for that (selfish reasons). if the Spirit of God has put a fire in your heart for the fact that there are people at GS going to eternal destruction unless someone comes out and lives out the fame of Jesus Christ in their midst in a way that they can come to see the beauty of Jesus. it was not the money it wasn’t the title the 47th floor, not NY not London, but it is my path. and im good at it… and im going for it. but you’ve determined what you’re going to carry there.
and if we’re carrying the right thing i think theres a lot of grace in whether we end up in the right place, but we have spent our lives in this journey “the christian life” how to get in the right place. THERE ARE PEOPLE perplexed about getting in the right place, if im in the right place, right relationship, right girl, right guy, this degree this path this school these options, and we’re all paralyzed with what God wants us to do - GOD WANTS YOU TO CARRY THE RIGHT THING ALL THE DAYS OF YOUR LIFE WHEREVER YOU GO - and that provides margin and grace in the decision you make - because you don’t know if it was cornell or columbia, or this one or that one - ….
let’s spend less time where we’re oging to go, and let’s ask a preeminent question. what are we carrying…
if you’re at the bottom of your joy, please don’t go to serve the unreached people of the world, you will make them miserable in the process of telling them of Jesus. nothing worst than walking into one of the most remote places in the world and finding a missionary whose got themselves at the bottom of the trek to the middle of the world. they are translating the gospels to people who desperately need to hear it all for the sake of trying to improve their position with God or soem sense of satisfaction that “I CAME TO THE REMOTE PLACE OF THE WORLD!” — well that’s going to make the people there really really thrilled. no, what will make them thrilled is when Christ is at the bottom, so HE came to the remotest place in the world FOR THEM. and they saw that on your face, that’s what helps the people there. …
what are you carrying out of here? and im asking God to do something profound, and im asking him to give us the right to carry (which you arleady now, so that’s not a surprise) — but that he would give us the grace to carry because we loved it.

The Lord’s disciples, people who belonged to the Way -
we just don’t hear that, because that part of scripture apparently did not make it into the modern world… they didn’t translate into our culture, and then he says, Im going to go looking for these people who belong to the Way. Don’t people hear anybody say that, now we’re “Christians”… whether they were men or women, he might take them as prisoners to jerusalem… (more acts 9) — …
Saul could have spoken “im not persecuting you, im perscuting them, im persecuting the followers of the Way” - when people are persecuting us, they are persecuting HIM in us if he is IN us. if they’re persecuting you, thats probably because you’re annoying. so many times people who are follower sof Jesus who say they are getting persecuted cause im Christian. it’s really not - it’s cause you’re annoying. no no it’s cause my Christian…yeah i know it’s annoying. don’t confuse those two things — if you’re getting persecuted it’s because of Jesus because they dont like Jesus not that they dont like you, oru goal is for people as much as possible for people to like us, to be at peace with everyone — as much as possible, be WINSOME - but at some point, Christ is coming out of you and they may not like htat and the enemy is going to come cause he doesn’t want his name to be exalted… when they enemy comes against Christ don’t take it personally, just go oh you dont like Christ i know that but i still love you and ill try to be as winsome..
at the end of the day dont go home and say “they dont like me because im Christian” no they dont like Jesus - and that’s an issue He can work with but if they dont like you maybe we need to … work on you.
at 25:30ish. i’m going to write this all out. why should i. i don’t know. helps me remember better. i’m being annoying, but i hope you see the heart of Jesus through this man.
